The Committee of Citizens of Ukraine categorically condemns today’s expulsion of Mikhail Saakashvili from Ukraine to the territory of Poland. This shameful and cowardly act of the incumbent President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko regarding the spiritual leader of the people’s resistance to the regime of total corruption in Ukraine once again during the current government discredited Ukraine in the eyes of the civilized world and again created her reputation as a wild, backward, medieval country in which the ruling regime feudal type actively and purposefully builds in the center of Europe the personal preserve of the corruption mafia Petro Poroshenko, grossly suppressing any hotbeds of political resistance detecting and dissent and completely ignoring all the principles of the rule of law.

With regard to the attack on the Ukrainian authorities to press freedom

Committee of citizens of Ukraine considers undertaken by the authorities this week’s attack on the studio Savik Shuster unacceptable violation of democracy. As for the political repression against the opposition during the elections

Committee of citizens of Ukraine is extremely concerned about the citizens of Ukraine political repression against the opposition party “UKROP” and its leader Gennady Korban. Given that the current government repression made directly during the elections, we can say that the president of Poroshenko, whom we place full responsibility for these events, now seeks to destroy the very foundation of Ukrainian democratic system.
