On measures to protect against Russian aggression

Committee of Ukrainian citizens believes the recent Russian aggression against Ukraine further evidence of the extreme danger posed by Russia for the whole of modern civilization and world order. Committee endorses made in this regard active measures by the United States and other Western countries aimed at economic boycott Russia, but considers it necessary to urgently supplement their comprehensive shopping, banking and visa embargo, as well as excluding this country from all international organizations, including the UN.

In connection with the recently established facts of the involvement of organized groups of citizens of Russia in the riots in order to destabilize the political situation in some regions of Ukraine, the Committee considers it necessary to urgently introduce a unilateral visa regime for Russian citizens wishing to visit the territory of Ukraine, and if necessary, completely close the border Ukraine and Russia.

The Committee considers that the observed until the moment the apparent inability of the participants of the Budapest Memorandum in 1994 to ensure the inviolability of the territory of Ukraine in connection with the actual occupation of the Crimea by Russian troops discredits their commitment to comply with international agreements signed by them and hopes to enhance and effectiveness of their future efforts in this direction.
