About anti-government sabotage deputies from the “Svoboda”

Committee of Ukrainian citizens is extremely concerned about yesterday’s brawl, which staged by Ukrainian parliament deputy from the party “Svoboda” Igor Miroshnichenko, Andrei Ilienko and Bogdan Benyuk in the office of the National Television Company of Ukraine, and the violent actions of the above-mentioned persons in respect of the organization’s president Alexander Panteleimonov.

Committee of Ukrainian citizens considers these events as a direct act of sabotage against the Ukrainian state, which can give rise to escalate Russian military aggression against Ukraine. Committee of Ukrainian citizens believes that the only way out of the dangerous situation can only be referred to the earliest possible involvement of deputies of the Ukrainian parliament to appropriate criminal liability by a public inquiry in full compliance with the procedural requirements of the current legislation.

In the course of this investigation, the competent authorities of Ukraine should also investigate the possible involvement in the incident, and foreign intelligence services to check the possible presence of foreign agents, among others, have not yet manifested themselves in similar anti-Ukrainian actions of deputies from the “Svoboda”.

The Committee calls on all government authorities to recognize the extreme seriousness of the incident and to react to it as quickly, firmly and effectively as possible.
