On measures to protect against Russian aggression
Committee of Ukrainian citizens believes the recent Russian aggression against Ukraine further evidence of the extreme danger posed by Russia for the whole of modern civilization and world order. Committee endorses made in this regard active measures by the United States and other Western countries aimed at economic boycott Russia, but considers it necessary to urgently supplement their comprehensive shopping, banking and visa embargo, as well as excluding this country from all international organizations, including the UN.

The International Committee of the protection of press freedom and journalists’ rights is concerned the continuing pressure from Russian authorities to the editor of the independent Moscow magazine «The New Times» in connection with the published there in February this year of inappropriate material status of the units of the Russian special police.

The Committee of citizens of Ukraine expresses its concern about government’s action plan for instructions from Moscow to unify the Ukrainian history textbooks with pleasing the Kremlin ideology of chauvinism and Russian imperialism, the obvious strategic goal of which is the complete and final destruction of Ukrainian statehood and a tail to discredit the many heroes of Ukrainian national liberation struggle by a continuous and total falsification of history by Russian security services.
