Committee of Ukrainian citizens expressed extreme concern over the parliamentary elections in Ukraine. Numerous facts of administrative pressure on voters and still ongoing government efforts to distort the results of the people’s will not allow us to consider this election neither fair nor free.
The Committee calls on the Ukrainian authorities not surprising that the response from the international community to this farce that the Ukrainian government cynically tried to declare free and fair elections in the near future will be a series of hard and extremely painful for the ruling regime measures.
Committee of Ukrainian citizens requires the authorities to immediately stop these abuses of democratic principles, to establish the winners in the disputed districts based on the results available to the opposition headquarters primary protocols from polling stations and immediately bring to strict criminal liability any and all persons involved in the attempts to distort the people’s will.
