The International Committee of the protection of press freedom and journalists’ rights is concerned about the sudden rejection of the further spread of the magazine “The Ukrainian Week” at the flights of Ukrainian State Company “Ukraine International Airlines”, a follow-up immediately after publication in the weekly journal of critical material on the servility of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych the Kremlin .
The International Committee of the protection of press freedom and journalists’ rights shall consider the case of discrimination one of the few in today’s Ukraine is not controlled by any financial-industrial groups and parties of the social and political publications as conclusive evidence of the desire of the President of Yanukovych and his administration to destroy the freedom of the press in Ukraine and to revive the country’s telephone right era of communist dictatorship.
